...did I only make one!?

I had to post this so that some of my friends that wanted one can see. The flower lays flat on your head and there are 3 strands on each side and ties in the back. I have been asked to make more :)

Why did I only make one?! Oh I know, I hadn't slept in days and my eyes were failing me. So, I will be making some more before Christmas. Better get to crocheting!

Women's Christmas Boutique and Dinner

So this year we decided to do a boutique at our annual Women's Christmas potluck. Within a weeks notice all of us who love making beautiful things decided to make our stuff and make it in time to sell at the boutique. Well, after many sleepless night, and much labor of love, we all made it. Here are some pictures of the things I had on my table. Hope you enjoy!

By the way, sold out of most things... but still taking orders ;p I've been knitting, crocheting and sewing away! Biggest hits, the knitted iPhone clutch, rings and beanies/clips.

My Art class "The 4 seasons"

Here is another post I've had as a draft.. ugh. I know. Anyhow, these were too cute to not show. It was on of the latest. I will post another with our end of semester art. This was "The 4 seasons". These are all preschool & Kinder-6th. Ok so I have one 6th grader, but you get the point. I love how creative they all are. This was done with dots, using paint brush tips, pencil tips, finger tips... no brush strokes. The pictures below are mostly of the 5-9 year olds.

Thanksgiving Fun

So I am finally actually posting these. I know, now it's a little too late. But since it was such a cute idea. I thought I would post it anyhow. This idea came from daniellesplace.com. Such a great homeschoolers resource. We did this at our annual homeschool Thanksgiving feast and craft dinner. We shared with the kids all about Thanksgiving, it's meaning, it's origin... and such. I was slightly over talking about William Bradford, but it was totally fun! May I remind you I like to make things. Yes, so I have to make our outfits for the night. Here are some picts.

I can't copy and paste the explanation, so please go to http://www.daniellesplace.com/html/thanksgiving.html to see it in depth. Well worth it. The meaning of Thanksgiving, given to the children in an understandable, biblical way.
